You can find some of the most common questions and additional information about the services provided.
After getting in touch with me, we will go over your menu options. A few days before the class, we will go over you equipment, shopping and prep list. As this class is online we meet thru Skype or Google Meet. The classes are roughly 2-3.5 hours long.
Online cooking class: $125 per person (minimum 2 people). Extra participants are $75 each (up to 6 people total). Add an extra kitchen for $39. One-on-one classes are $225.
In-house cooking class:
$89 per person (minimum 2 participants).
For larger groups:
4–5 people: $84 per person.
6–8 people: $7 9 per person.
Online cooking class: You’ll receive a shopping and equipment list, a personal orientation with me to prep you for success, PDF recipes from the class, and discounts on my other services.
In-house cooking class: You’ll be greeted with homemade sourdough bread, sausages, and my very own palinka (Hungarian fruit brandy). I’ll provide all the ingredients, bottles of wine (based on group size), and PDF recipes of the dishes prepared. Plus, I offer discounts on other services, and you can add a market tour to the experience!
Private chef service: I’ll handle all the food—whether it's shipped to or cooked right in your apartment.
Here’s how it all goes down:
We’ll chat to sort out the details (like participant numbers and date).
I’ll ask for a few photos of your kitchen to ensure it’s suitable.
Once that’s done, I’ll send over the full menu for you to choose from.
Before our class, I’ll send a reminder email.
On the day, I’ll arrive with everything needed—ingredients, cookware, and some welcoming treats (homemade sourdough, palinka, and cold cuts).
We’ll cook, eat, and share stories and laughs as you immerse yourself in Hungarian culture, cuisine, and history.
After the meal, I’ll clean up and leave your space just as I found it.
Post-class, I’ll email you the recipes we made together.
Online cooking class: 2.5 to 3.5 hours (menu-dependent).
In-house cooking class: Around 4 hours—or up to 6 hours if you choose to include the market tour.
Pricing for the private chef service depends on various factors like the length of the contract, the number of dishes and meals, any dietary restrictions, and more. Each service is tailored to your unique needs!
